About

Casual/ReflectiveJonathan Lockwood was born into the third generation of a family strongly devoted to a religious movement. He genuinely believed that the organization responsible for this movement represented the sole channel of communication from God to humanity. While he supported this belief with a line of reasoning that seemed perfectly rational, over many years, challenging questions accumulated. Questions he suppressed as a result of indoctrination, group pressure and the fear of losing his family and community.

It wasn’t until age 38 that he finally gave himself permission to conduct an objective investigation into this group’s teachings and claims.  The result?  A lifequake…and an important lesson learned.

“Things are not always what they seem.”  Phaedrus

While many accept the above maxim, Jonathan’s experience profoundly dramatized it:  people usually accept the reality placed before them by other people.  And so, he has embarked upon his own personal quest to discover what is real.  His awareness that, as science has begun to demonstrate, our thoughts modify our reality, has impacted his life remarkably.  He is eager to make new life discoveries, learn from others, and share them with you.

Career Background:  During a fifteen year career in radio, Jonathan cultivated his talent for communication.  He won countless creative awards, most notably a National Gold ADDY and the $20,000 Radio Mercury Award, presented him by Dick Clark.  In addition to his 47-weeks-per-year travel schedule, he still takes on the occasional creative project, while also performing hundreds of voiceovers, narrations and group presentations nationwide.
